Mascots Infographic

Here is a sweet infographic showing all the mascots of the four major professional sports (sorry college fans).

Observations:
- some real silly mascots like Steeley McBeam and the Edgar, Allen, Poe ravens
- Where are the reptiles and amphibians? (plenty of good choices here: Chomper the Alligator, Frank the Frog, etc.)
- along the same lines a monkey mascot is long overdue (monos!)
- the bear is the only animal represented in all sports
- New York apparently doesn't like mascots (Yankees, Giants, Jets, Knicks, and Rangers don't have one)
